I strive to capture your dog as they are, enjoying life and being completely themselves! Forget worrying about whether your dog will pose, run off and show you up, or feel anxious during the shoot. Your dog’s photo shoot will be a relaxed affair, just like going out for a walk and playing a couple of games along the way.
I will always work at your dog’s pace – whether they are energetic or prefer to take things easy. As mum to a reactive dog, I’m very experienced at helping nervous or fearful dogs feel at ease.

The Best doggy photographer out there – Rowan’s photos helped me make memories of my dog that I will cherish forever.
Rowan’s biggest priority was making sure my dog felt comfortable, confident and relaxed – never putting her in a situation she wouldn’t be keen on, and she captured her in her natural behaviour.
She was patient, incredibly kind, and an expert at making the most ridiculous noises I’ve ever heard to get my dogs attention in an area with lots of distractions.
Rowan managed to get so many different expressions and sides to my dogs personality – as well as a few that really captured the bond between me and my dog which I will cherish long after my dog is no longer by my side.
I cannot recommend Pooch & Pineapple enough. I got fantastic photos that will take pride of place in my home forever and me and Marge made a new friend in Rowan ❤️

Wow! I couldn’t believe the shots that came out!
Do you want photos of your pets but have never got around to it? This was me! Now with a 2nd rescue dog, a very loud big bouncy pup I was more apprehensive and worried that it would be impossible. I was very wrong.
Rowan is amazing! Nothing was forced, Mabel & Herbie were just left to do their own thing, with no pressure. Wow, I couldn’t believe the shots that came out – so natural and a true reflection of both of their characters! I couldn’t recommend Rowan more.

I booked this photoshoot for my two 10 year old shih tzus that are unfortunately very poorly. I wanted some professional photos that I could cherish forever, but ended up cherishing the actual experience even more.
We met at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire, and Rowan was happy to take it at our poorly pooches own pace. I was worried this would be too much for them and that we would have to leave early and waste her time, however Rowans friendly and calm nature put the whole family at ease and the boys ended up absolutely loving their day.
The photoshoot felt incredibly natural and we all made amazing memories in addition to receiving wonderful photos. Rowan also went the extra mile with us and spent more time with us than originally booked and we never felt rushed.

CAN THE WHOLE FAMILY / MYSELF BE IN THE PHOTO TOO?
Sure thing! I am very used to working with groups and individual people from my work as a wedding and portrait photographer.
DO YOU TAKE PHOTOS OF PUPPIES?
Yes absolutely! I love puppies. However it’s a good idea to scedule the shoot after your pup has had all their vaccinations. For their own health.
MY DOG HAS TO BE KEPT ON A LEAD IS THAT A PROBLEM?
No problem at all! My dog George is very dog reactive and has to be kept on a lead too. If your pooch usually wears a harness then please bring a nice looking collar and fixed length lead to wear instead of the harness. I can easily remove the lead after the photo has been taken.
MY DOG IS QUITE NAUGHTY, IS THAT OK?
Sure! I love dogs that have lots of personality and spirit. I am used to working with all kinds of dogs from my work with the animal rescue charity Mayhew.
MY DOG IS NERVOUS, IS THAT OK?
Yes that’s fine. I always start very slowly when first meeting a new dog, getting them used to me and the camera. My camera has a setting to work completely silently and I can use a very long lens to work at a distance from your dog if they feel more comfortable. Your dog will never be forced to do something that it doesn’t want to do.
MY DOG IS OLD AND DOESN'T WALK FAR, IS THAT OK?
I love old dogs and I’m very used to old dogs (my dog Tula is an old lady). We will work at the pace and energy level that is most suited to your dog. If your dog doesn’t want to walk very far we don’t have to. Your dog will never be forced to do something that it doesn’t want to do.
MY DOG DOESN'T SIT AND STAY, IS THAT OK?
I love active dogs! Your dog doesn’t have to sit and stay for their photos, I can take action photos and also work with your dog on their lead.
